Guided by people, not itineraries

Good Guides was started by Kampala locals who wanted visitors to see more than the airport road. We keep groups small, we pay fair wages, and every stop on the route is somewhere we'd take our own family.

A day with us means real streets and real conversations — boda bodas weaving through the traffic, haggling with stall holders in the street markets, lunch on a rural banana plantation, and a boat on Lake Victoria as the sun goes down. Lunch and transport are always included, and your guide stays with you door to door.
