Kampala Heritage and Craft Tour
A VIP day through Uganda's royal history, monuments and modern crafts
This tour will take you through the history and monuments of Uganda. From the early story of the Bugandan Kingdom and the spiritual burial place of their kings at the Kasubi Tombs, to more recent history visiting Kabaka's (King's) Palace and the man-made Kabaka Lake. You will also see the Independence Monument, erected at the birth of the independent Ugandan nation in 1962, and walk around the Sheraton Gardens in the centre of Kampala. There will also be time to visit the Kampala of today at the Arts and Crafts market, where our guides will be on hand to help you haggle for a bargain or search for that special souvenir. This tour has been specially designed to show you the real Uganda: a history lesson that interacts with the modern arts and crafts. We plan to give you a complete luxury experience that encompasses the sights, the sounds and, not forgetting, the tastes of Uganda.
